Leeds United transfer rumours: Whites linked with THREE incomings, striker set to leave Elland Road, ex-Whites boss takes over at Yorkshire rivals

Leeds United played out a goalless draw with Chelsea in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Indeed, Marcelo Bielsa said his side needed to produce an 'enormous effort' to perform as they did in their 0-0 draw with in-form Blues.

"Evidently we played against a team that is superior to ours," said Bielsa.

"But in the second half especially, the first half less, we did what was necessary to play a balanced game and at the end of the game the chances both teams had were similar."

In some rather big news elsewhere, however, an ex-Leeds United head coach has taken charge at Sheffield United following Chris Wilder’s exit.

The Blades parted company with manager Chris Wilder officially on Saturday night with the club sat at the foot of the Premier League table.

Speculation had mounted over Wilder’s future on Friday, when the club’s media duties were cancelled on three occasions.

Heckingbottom - who lasted just four months in the Elland Road hot seat - has been appointed as head coach until the end of the season at Bramall Lane.

The 43-year-old enjoyed a brief spell as Whites manager after his arrival in February 2018 before his sacking in the following summer as he was replaced by Marcelo Bielsa.

But, as always, there is still plenty of transfer talk swirling around the internet this morning...
