Leeds United transfer rumours: Ozan Tufan and Noa Lang latest as summer recruitment starts

Leeds United will be looking to get back to winning ways when they come up against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday lunchtime.

The Whites let a six-game unbeaten run slip away last weekend against Brighton, with goals from Pascal Gross and Danny Welbeck ultimately handing the hosts a 2-0 win.

The result meant that Marcelo Bielsa’s men fell out of the top half of the table with four matches left to play, the next of which is a meeting with Spurs.

Last time the two sides met, the north Londoners recorded a commanding 3-0 win, with Harry Kane, Son Heung-Min, and Toby Alderweireld on the scoresheet.

But regardless of Saturday's result and where Leeds end up finishing in the table, striker Patrick Bamford has revealed that he and his teammates have lofty ambitions for the future.

Speaking to BBC Leeds, he said: "In order to re-establish ourselves we need to stay there for two or three years before people can start saying we can challenge for this or for that. We've shown this year we can compete against the biggest and best but it's that consistency.

"We don't want to get ahead of ourselves and say next year we're going to go for Europe but ultimately the aim should be within the next five years to try to push for the top six, top four spaces.

"It should be general progression but for the first couple of years at least is to get that stability in the Premier League."
