Ex Leeds loanee and target attracting interest

Former Elland Road man Ben White is attracting interest from Premier League big guns Arsenal.

The Gunners have seen an initial £40m offer turned down by Brighton for his services.

Leeds attempted to prize him away from the Seagulls last summer with a £30m bid but failed to land their man.

White is currently away in international duty with England at the ongoing Euros.

Angus Kinnear discusses Marcelo Bielsa latest

Angus Kinnear has provided an update on head coach Marcelo Bielsa's Leeds United future and hailed the Argentinian's dedication and diligence over the summer.

Asked for the latest on Bielsa's contract situation, Kinnear told BBC Radio Leeds: "We are all really confident. Marcelo decided not to return back to Argentina this summer.

"Some of his coaching staff have but he wanted to stay at Elland Road, he wanted to prepare, he wanted to work with Victor (Orta) and I on the transfer window and much to our training ground directors' delight, he wanted to stay to oversee the training ground work taking place.

"So I have no doubt as to his commitment and as normal with Marcelo I think putting pen to paper he sees as an irrelevance.

"It's really emotionally and psychologically where he is and he is certainly very much with Leeds United for next season."

Marko Arnautovic handed Euros ban for Alioski outburst

Austria forward Marko Arnautovic has made a €25k donation to charity after being handed a one-match ban for an outburst aimed at Leeds United's Gjanni Alioski.

The incident occurred during North Macedonia's 3-1 defeat to Austria last week on the opening weekend of the European Championships.

Arnautovic, who is of Serbian heritage, celebrated his goal by appearing to shout and gesture at the Leeds United defender, who is of Albanian heritage.

The former West Ham and Stoke City forward apologised on social media afterwards insisting that he "wasn't racist" while The Football Federation of Macedonia called for an investigation into remarks they described as "nationalistic".

UEFA has now moved to suspend Arnautovic for Austria's clash with the Netherlands on Thursday night as a result of his actions.
