He said: "Yesterday morning I had the idea of putting our £20 e-voucher from Leeds United to good use by giving to to someone who needed an extra little help during Christmas.

"This year has been difficult for a lot of people with Covid19, lockdown and job losses so I thought that maybe I could ease the pressure of buying presents for somebody.

"It originally wasn't an appeal, it was just me and a tweet to help someone.

"But the wonderful Leeds fan from up and down the country flooded me with messages of support and happily donated their vouchers too."

Chaz said fans had donated more than £500 worth of vouchers in less than 24 hours.

He said their aim is "to get one to anybody who needs it".

Any leftover vouchers would be donated to purchase gifts to give to charity, Chaz confirmed.

He added: "Within 24 hours we've had over £500 of vouchers donated to us and our aim is to get one to anybody who needs it.
