YOUNG Leeds United centre-half Jake Skelton has joined Vanarama North high-fliers Guiseley on a month’s loan.
The highly-rated teenager, aged 18, has represented United from under-10s level through to the development squad and was included in Leeds’ first-team squad for their pre-season training camp in Italy after impressing former head coach David Hockaday.
Meanwhile, young Leeds United defender Lewie Coyle has seen his loan spell with Harrogate Town cut short through injury.
Coyle has been forced to cut short his one-month loan deal with the Vanarama Conference North side after suffering a broken metatarsal.
A Harrogate club statement read: “It has been confirmed that right back Lewis Coyle will miss the rest of his loan period with us due to a fractured metatarsal in his foot.
“The club would like to wish him a speedy recovery and we hope to see him again at the CNG Stadium.”
