The January transfer window will soon be upon us and Leeds United fans will be hoping the club can do some business to help bolster Marcelo Bielsa's squad.

What are some of the more memorable January transfer deals in recent seasons for both good and bad reasons? We take a look back at those moves that shaped the second half of Whites campaigns in years gone by...

January 2010 - Although the winger joined United initially on loan his deal from Leicester City was made permanent late in January 2010. Gradel helped United to promotion from League One, though was sent off against Bristol Rovers in the clinching game, the Ivorian made 65 appearances scoring 25 goals during his spell in Leeds.
