Have your say

UWE ROSLER has professed delight with his ‘energetic’ and ‘enthusiastic’ coaching team at Leeds United.

The United head coach, his assistant Rob Kelly, first-team coach Julian Darby and goalkeeping coach Richard Hartis are currently putting the first-team squad through their paces in readiness for the new campaign and Rosler is pleased with the team put together.

The German said: “I chose the staff because I know them well. I spoke to Rob before and once we were free to work together, I was pleased.

“Rob recommended Julian because they had worked together at Nottingham Forest and had a very good dynamic between those two.

“There is a lot of energy and enthusiasm out on the training field and that is vital.

“I am also very happy with Richard Hartis. I knew him at Manchester United and he has great knowledge on the training pitch, but also understands how to create that winning environment.

“He had ten years at Man United and I am delighted to have him here.”
