Leeds United head coach Neil Redfearn has missed out on the Championship’s manager of the month award for March.
Redfearn was one of four coaches shortlisted for the prize but it went instead to Bournemouth’s Eddie Howe.
Leeds compiled a five-game unbeaten run in March, claiming 11 points in all, but Bournemouth’s form took them back to the top of the table.
Redfearn’s nomination was his second of the season, following on from his appearance in the shortlist for the January award.
That trophy was won by Middlesbrough’s Aitor Karanka.
Only two Leeds United bosses have ever claimed the Football League’s manager of the month award - Dennis Wise twice in 2007 and Simon Grayson once in December 2010.
