United's no 1 'keeper was forced to miss last Saturday's hosting of Brighton through illness but posted on social media to tell Whites fans he was 'recovering well.'

The 20-year-old Frenchman had been the subject of rumours over a positive Covid-19 test during the week.

Spanish custodian Kiko Casilla took over between the sticks against the Seagulls but United goalkeeping coach Marcos Abad has now shared a video of Meslier looking extremely sharp in a series of training drills.

Abad accompanied the video with the message of "Beautiful day in the Indoor Office!" and the video was soon Tweeted by Leeds United's official account with the words "back in training."

Abad also added another video of Casilla taking part in the same drills.
