Tony Dorigo, who won the First Division with Leeds in 1991, said he was delighted to be part of the centenary celebrations.

He said: "It's fantastic looking at the different decades, at how many players played for the club.

"Some players maybe I'd forgotten, some young players only played once or twice. It really was lovely to see my name up there with some wonderful talented players over the eras."

Solid granite benches will be installed in spring 2020, etched with stories of Elland Road and iconic moments in the club's history.

Supporters can secure their place on the square by purchasing a customised stone by December 31, which will be placed in front of the player wall and surround the benches.

Gjanni Alioski, who helped Leeds earn their win over Reading on Tuesday night, said he was proud to see his name marked on the wall.

The 27-year-old added: "It's amazing. I see a lot of names and a lot of legendary players here and my name is also now here. I can say only thank you very much."
