Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani is set to launch a UK sports streaming service through his broadcasting company Eleven Sports.
The Italian, who launched the sports network in 2015, has announced the company will enter a 'strategic partnership' with IMG in the UK and Ireland to launch two new sports channels.
Eleven Sports 1 will be the home of Serie A and LaLiga for the next three years in the UK and will launch exclusively via an online streaming platform next month. The secondary channel, Eleven Sports 2, will showcase premium fight sports, Esports, extreme sports and any football over spill.
The network secured live LaLiga rights from Sky Sports in May in a major coup for the company and on Thursday announced it had also landed Serie A from BT Sport.
Eleven Sports also confirmed that they were in discussions with 'other major platforms' to offer the widest possible access to their channels for UK fans.
The Italian's sports network also revealed earlier this year they had secured the rights to show the UEFA Champions League and LaLiga exclusively in Portugal from next season in a three-year deal as they continue to make inroads into the European broadcasting market.
