Gotts is now eligible to play for Salford in Saturday's League Two clash at Newport County, subject to FA clearance.
Reflecting on the move, Gotts told Salford City's official website: "I’m really looking forward to it, as soon as the Club was interested really I think that was my main priority to come here.
“The manager spoke to me, there’s been previous conversation before and I’m just really happy to be here.”

“He’s got loads and loads of energy and I think he will complement the other midfielders very well, he comes fresh from a loan spell at Lincoln who are flying, and comes with a good recommendation.”
