The new system will allow season ticket holders the opportunity to sell their seat back to the club on a match-by-match basis if they are unable to attend any home fixtures at Elland Road.

This will then allow other fans the chance to purchase the available seat through the club as a resale ticket for the selected game.

Season ticket holders who utilise the scheme will then receive a credit on their account, with the chance to build up resale credits across the 2021/22 campaign. One of the options open to season ticket holders is for credits to be redeemed against the price of a season ticket for the 2022/23 season.

The fan ticket exchange will only be available for season ticket holders once general admission tickets are sold out at Elland Road.

The Whites have also announced their new membership options for the 2021/22 season which will give supporters exclusive access to the new scheme.

For the upcoming campaign Leeds have revealed a My Leeds+ membership option, which includes an enhanced level of benefits from seasonal access to LUTV, a new digital matchday programme and priority to the ticket exchange throughout the year.

Renewals start at £65 while for new members the package is priced at £75 with discounts on stadium tours, retail, matchday food and beverage included.

A standard My Leeds membership - the next tier down - is priced at £50 alongside a Junior My Leeds membership which is set at £30.

Demand for tickets in the top flight is expected to be higher than ever in LS11 following a near full season played out behind closed doors.

Marcelo Bielsa's side will begin the new campaign with a trip to face arch rivals Manchester United on August 14.

Leeds then host Everton the following week in their first home game of the Premier League term.
