Young Leeds United defender Ross Killock has agreed a one-year extension to his contract at Elland Road.

Killock’s new deal will run to the end of the 2015-16 season, giving him a fresh chance to force his way into the senior side at Leeds.

The centre-back, who is on loan at at non-league Halifax Town until the end of this term, has been on the fringes of United’s squad for a number of years but is still to make his competitive debut for the club.

Killock, 20, previously spent time on loan at Alfreton Town and Chester and his temporary spell at Chester last season saw him retained by Leeds on a 12-month deal in May.
