Leeds United fans offered chance to appear on Sky Sports Soccer AM show

Fans can buy tickets for 'A Night in the San Siro' meal with former players Eddie Gray, Danny Mills, Ian Harte and former manager Simon Grayson.

That event will take place at Blackhouse Grill on the Square in Leeds next week.

And Leeds fans can also buy £10 tickets via justgiving for a raffle for the chance for the winner and five friends to represent the Elland Road club on Soccer AM Fans of The Week slot on Saturday January 18.

Both events will help raise funds for the YEP-backed Radio Aire Cash for Kids Mission Christmas toy appeal.

The meal at Blackhouse Grill will take place from 1pm to 5pm on Tuesday December 10, ahead of United's home game V Hull City which kicks off at 7.45pm that night.

The fundraisers have been organised by Leeds fan Gareth Senior, who is a friend of former United manager Simon Grayson.

Mr Senior, said: "We’ll focus on that amazing run to the Champions league semi-final in 2001, those rivalries on and off the pitch and try and understand where it all started to go wrong from a players point of view.

"Simon Grayson will also be on hand to talk about the famous cup win at Old Trafford in 2010 and how a late Jermaine Beckford goal on the last day of a famous season

probably saved Max Gradel’s life."

Mr Senior said the raffle gives Leeds fans an opportunity that "money can't buy."

Mr Senior said: "Just one entry to the raffle could win you and five friends the opportunity to represent our club on the iconic Saturday morning show and take part in the challenges that you see each week on the programme.

"You'll also meet the presenters, the guests and the live band of the week and sample the great hospitality from the legendary Fenners and his team.

"In entering this unique raffle you will also be supporting the less fortunate kids of Leeds and West Yorkshire as all money raised will be donated to the Radio Aire Cash for Kids appeal."

Each £10 donation will earn one entry into the prize draw.

Closing date for the raffle via justgiving is midnight on Friday December 13. Winners must be aged over 18 to appear on the show.

Tickets for the 'A night in the San Siro' meal at Blackhouse Grill are priced at £75.

It is being held to support the Radio Aire appeal and The Brain Charity, which supports people with Locked In Syndrome.

The Radio Aire Mission Christmas appeal asks people to buy one extra gift to help thousands of disadvantaged children across the county.

Last year’s Mission Christmas appeal supported 27,215 children in West Yorkshire.

Supporters of the campaign can take their gifts to a number of drop-off points which are listed on the Radio Aire website.

Drop off points include B&M Bargains and B&M Home stores.
