Leeds United have been charged with failing to control their players during Saturday’s Yorkshire derby at Sheffield Wednesday.
The Football Association has cited the club on the back of their 2-1 win at Hillsborough.
United’s players were involved in a first-half confrontation with referee Robert Madeley following his award of a penalty to Sheffield Wednesday.
Defender Sol Bamba was booked for dissent amid strong protests against the decision for a challenge by Sam Byram on Lloyd Isgrove.
Leeds have until Monday to respond to the charge. The club are likely to face a fine if found guilty.
