As it is well known, director of football Victor Orta and co are already planning for what they hope is a busy summer window ahead of a second consecutive season in the Premier League.
Indeed, Orta spent most of last month working on his list of transfer targets – and the rumour mill is throwing up plenty of potential names.
As per the Daily Star, Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds have joined the race for Sampdoria sensation Mikkel Damsgaard.
At the tender age of 20, the midfielder is already a full Denmark international, less than a year after his £5.2million move from Nordsjaelland.
His eye-catching progress has prompted a number of clubs into expressing an interest, including the Whites, Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United and Southampton.
European giants Juventus are also monitoring Damsgaard, who is believed to worth around £15million.
Central midfield is a certainly position Leeds are looking to strengthen in order to provide cover and competition for Kalvin Phillips.
Another report, this time from EFotbal, claims the Whites are keen on Slavia Prague midfielder Oscar Dorley.
Dorley, 22, could be bought for a relatively low price of £7million with his versatility undoubtedly viewed as a real bonus. He can also fill in at left-back.
The Liberian moved to the Czech Republic in 2018 when he joined Slovan Liberec on loan before a permanent spell soon turned into a move to Prague.
Dorley, who was previously scouted by Manchester City, has 11 senior caps for his country and has featured 19 times for the Czech champions this campaign.
Meanwhile, a reported Leeds target is currently in talks with another English club.
