Leeds United duo bag international calls but coronavirus complication in Euros bid

LEEDS UNITED'S Stuart Dallas has been named in Northern Ireland's squad for their Euro 2020 play-off semi-final while Academy midfielder Liam McCarron has received a call-up for Scotland's under-19s.

Dallas has been named in Michael O'Neil's Northern Ireland squad for their Euro 2020 play-off semi-final against Bosnia and Herzegovina which is scheduled to take place on Thursday, March 26 in Zenica.

However, ticket sales for the clash are currently postponed to help prevent the spread of coronavirus.

The Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced the postponement on Tuesday, saying ticket sales have been postponed for several days.

"In order to prevent the spread of the virus corona, and in accordance with the recommendations of the relevant institutions, the ticket sale is postponed for several days,"they said in a statement.

"A new ticket date will be announced later."

The winner of the clash will face either the Republic of Ireland or Slovakia in the play-off final on Tuesday, March 31 to battle it out for a place at this summer's Euro 2020 finals.

McCarron, meanwhile, has been named in Billy Stark's Scotland Under-19s squad for their UEFA Elite Round qualifiers in France later this month.

McCarron has featured 18 times for United's Under-23s this season, scoring twice against Hull City and Bolton Wanderers.
