The winger received brief treatment on what looked like a thigh problem before coming off for Helder Costa.
It means that all four of United's main summer signings are now injured with Diego Llorente out with a muscular problem and fellow centre-back Robin Koch still recovering from knee surgery.
Whites no 9 Patrick Bamford was also limping at the end of the game but told Sky Sports he was only suffering from a dead leg.
