Leeds United head coach Thomas Christiansen has been nominated for the manager-of-the-month award after an unbeaten run through August.
The Elland Road boss is included in a shortlist of four for the prize following a flying start to his career at Leeds.
United took 11 points from their first five games, claiming away wins at Bolton Wanderers, Sunderland and Nottingham Forest and earning goalless draws at home to Preston North End and Fulham.
Christiansen, the former APOEL manager, was a surprise choice as head coach in the wake of Garry Monk’s surprise resignation in May but his side found immediate form last month and will resume the season after the international break placed third in the Championship.
Ex-Leeds boss Neil Warnock, whose Cardiff City are top of the table with five wins from five, has also been nominated alongside Ipswich Town’s Mick McCarthy and Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Nuno Espirito Santo.
