Leeds United's senior squad contested a behind-closed-doors friendly against Michael Skubala-coached League One outfit Lincoln City on Tuesday afternoon, according to reports.

The Whites ran out 3-0 winners over their former interim boss at Thorp Arch, defeating the team in the division below which included a goal from 17-year-old midfielder Charlie Crew.

Leeds youngsters James Debayo, Luca Thomas, Joe Snowdon and Sam Chambers are all said to have featured for the seniors during the match, instead of travelling to Rangers' Auchenhowie training base where the rest of the Under-21 squad also recorded a friendly win over the Glaswegians' 'B' squad.

There was also an appearance for 15-year-old Harry Gray, younger brother of recently-departed £40 million midfielder Archie, with Daniel Farke's men. The younger of the two brothers scored eight goals in 11 league appearances for the Whites' Under-18s last season and evidently has done enough to be included among Farke's main group for their first unofficial friendly of the summer.

While the youngsters' involvement is likely due to the fact not all Leeds players have reported back for pre-season training, and that others are no longer available having been sold or loaned out, their inclusion suggests they are well-regarded by the first-team boss.

North of the border, Leeds' U18s defeated Rangers' U18 side by a 3-0 scoreline, with goals from Oliver Boast, Logan White and Kenneth Mensah. Meanwhile, the U21s recorded a 1-0 behind-closed-doors victory over Rangers' 'B' team, thanks to a strike from substitute Jacob Render.

Leeds' first official friendly of pre-season takes place this Friday away at Harrogate Town, before the team jet off for a training camp in Germany. Whilst on the continent, they will contest at least two matches against German opposition. However, details of their opponents or where these matches will be played have not been disclosed as supporters are urged not to travel. The local authority has cited logistical complications around police availability following this summer's European Championships as a factor in their decision to order games behind-closed-doors.

United's final friendly before their August 10 kick-off at Elland Road with Portsmouth, comes a week prior also at home, versus Spanish club Valencia.
