Striker Andy Gray is training with Leeds United, the club he began his career with 17 years ago.
Released by Barnsley in the summer, the 34-year-old was expected to join Bradford City, whom he scored 20 goals for in 77 appearances from 2002-04. Instead, Gray has returned to Elland Road with a view to joining on a free transfer.
Leeds manager Neil Warnock said: “Andy asked if he could come and train with us and we have allowed him to do that. We will take a look at him and see how it goes.”
Gray played under Warnock at Shefield United from 2004-05, scoring 25 goals in 58 games.
