A solitary strike from defender Luke Ayling in the 16th minute was enough to see the Whites earn all three points with a dominant display against the Robins at Elland Road. Here's how we scored the victory in LS11...

7 - Dealt well with the ball and the nerves around the stadium that greeted his touches, one poor pass aside, didn't really have anything to do. One routine save to make.
8 - A superb first half, capped with a goal. Didn't enjoy as much license to attack in the second half but continued to do everything well.

8 - Another comfortable display, made it look easy.
8 - Solid defensively, played one particularly brilliant forward pass for Costa.
8 - Got forward well, hit the woodwork, played some clever balls in and around the box, linked up well with Harrison.
8 - Nipped in when he had to, always had his body in the right position to win the ball or turn into space. Kept Leeds on the front foot late on.
7 - Lots of running, some of it that wasn't spotted by team-mates, some clever passes.
7 - One poor giveaway in the middle of the park and a couple of through balls that didn't work aside, he was a big part of Leeds' attacking dominance. Played some lovely football.
7 - Ran himself into the ground, enjoyed the freedom of the right flank. His final ball was the only part missing. Should have scored in the second half.
8 - Showed his pace and all his tricks to beat men or stretch Bristol City. Put some good balls into the area, but wasn't consistent with his delivery.
7 - Deserved a goal for his all-round contribution to the team. Showed skill with lovely turns, passed it well, held it up but just couldn't find the net from good chances.
6 - Had one chance and put it wide. Struggled to get on the ball otherwise.
N/A - Came on for the very final stages.
Tim Robinson, 7 - City weren't impressed with his performance, feeling they deserved a penalty. But he let it flow, used his yellow card only when necessary and kept a lid on a tense game.
