GOOD DAY FOR

Mirco Antenucci: There’s no longer any doubt that the striker has been the star of United’s season so far.

His finishing looks crisp and he beat David Button with another exquisite hit of the ball on Saturday.

The temptation to start with two up front against Ipswich tomorrow is definitely there. Antenucci deserves that chance.

BAD DAY FOR

Alex Mowatt: Last season’s player-of-the-year is yet to fire and he was sacrificed at half-time as Uwe Rosler faced up to the very obvious need for a rethink.

Mowatt, like Sam Byram, is someone who Leeds could do with working into top form. The midfielder hasn’t reached that level yet.

KEY MOMENT

Djuricin’s shot against the post: He had to score from close range and Marco Silvestri’s slack pass left Leeds in total disarray at the back. The Austrian’s shot beat Silvestri all ends up but clipped the outside of the post and both teams appreciated the size of the let-off. It kept Leeds in the game, at 1-0 down.

WHAT THEY SAID

Uwe Rosler: “They deserved to go in at half-time with the lead. In the second half we put Mirco on then Luke and when we brought those two players on, we changed the game in our favour. We finished very strongly. We got the equaliser, completely deserved, and we went for the win.”

Marinus Dijkhuizen: “I’m very disappointed because we were by far the better side. In the first half we could have been up 2-0 or 3-0. After the break we got a couple of big chances so I think we deserved to win.
