11.11pm: And here’s the first, Danny Graham - who left Hull City just an hour ago - has joined Middlesbrough on loan from Sunderland.

10.40pm: Two departures from Hull City, Danny Graham has gone to Sunderland and Jack Hobbs has signed a four and a half year deal at Nottingham Forest. Graham could now sign for Middlesbrough.

10.10pm: Huddersfield Town have sent Jon Stead on loan to Oldham.

9.58pm: Doncaster Rovers have signed Manchester United goalkeeper Sam Johnstone on a 28-day loan deal.

9.09pm: It is understood that up to half a dozen clubs have enquired about Leeds United’s Ross McCormack.

9.05pm: Middlesbrough are understood tohave stuck a late bid in for Lee Tomlin at Peterborough.

8.30pm: Ross McCormack has been on Sky Sports News to talk about his future in the wake of the dismissal of Brian McDermott.

On the subject of interest from Premier League side Cardiff City, the Leeds United captain said: “At the moment it’s still very raw. There’s only three hours left.”

7.15pm: News to delight all Leeds United fans, captain Ross McCormack has pledged his future to the club after interest West Ham United and Cardiff City. Cardiff had a bid of £4m rejected earlier in the day. McCormack said: “I am really happy at Leeds and look forward to staying at the club. I’m club captain and I look forward to continue playing at the club under Brian McDermott for the rest of the season.”

6.33pm: Leeds United have turned down a bid from Cardiff City for captain Ross McCormack. The bid is believed to be £4m but that the Premier League club may come back in for the striker.

6.00pm: A move for Hull City loan striker Danny Graham to re-join former club Middlesbrough is looking increasingly likely.

5.15pm: There are unconfirmed reports emerging that Leeds United have rejected a £4m bid from Cardiff City for sought-after striker and captain Ross McCormack. Leeds have already turned down an offer from West Ham of £3.5m for McCormack, who has also been linked with Sunderland and Middlesbrough.

4.15pm: Doncaster Rovers have confirmed the loan of Enda Stevens till the end of the season. The Aston Villa defender was already on loan at the South-Yorkshire club and had made 13 appearances for them this campaign.

4.05pm: Rotherham United have completed the deadline day signing of Nicky Adams for an undisclosed fee from Crawley Town.

3.44pm: Rotherham United have extended the loan of Queen Park Rangers striker Tom Hitchcock until the end of the season.

3.25pm: Sheffield United are interested in signing Crawley Town centre-forward Billy Clarke.

3.15pm: Rotherham United are on the verge of signing Crawley Town midfielder Nicky Adams.

2.44pm: Nigel Clough asays Sheffield United are trying to turn Bob Harris’ loan from Blackpool into a permanent move.

2.36pm: Hull City have agreed a fee with three different clubs for the sale of defender Jack Hobbs. Nottingham Forest, Reading and Wigan are the clubs.

2.22pm: Luke Oliver has left Bradford City for Forest Green Rovers after a long injury.

1.40pm: Leeds United manager Brian McDermott confirmed Zac Thompson, Luke Varney and Paul Green could all leave before tonight’s deadline. McDermott also confirmed he expects Ross McCormack to stay.

1.35pm: Guiseley report that 18-year-old academy midfielder Ben Whitfield has signed for Championship side AFC Bournemouth

1.30pm: Tottenhamboss Tim Sherwood confirms what Steve Bruce reported this morning, that Jake Livermore is to stay on loan at Hull City until the end of the season.

1.12pm: Ryan McLaughlin, who has just extended his loan with Barnsley, has just tweeted: “Great to sign on loan to @bfc_official until the end of the season, thanks for the messages.”

1.10pm: Middlesbrough are understood to have made a bid for Feyenoord’s Lex Immers. The 27-year-old midfielder has scored 19 goals in 50 games for the Dutch club.

12.38pm: Emmanuel Frimpong has joined Barnsley from Arsenal for an undisclosed fee. Frimpong has signed a permanent contract until the end of June 2014.

12.13pm: Crawley Town are also making moves to sign Halifax striker Lee Gregory.

11.31am: FC Halifax Town striker Lee Gregory is linked with a move into the Football League. Barnsley, Bolton and Blackburn are all interested in the striker.

11.25am: Barnsley confirm they have extended Liverpool defender Ryan McLaughlin’s loan until the end of the season.

10.52am: Sheffield United defender Tony McMahon has joined Blackpool. McMahon had originally joined on a 28-day loan last week but has now signed a contract until the end of the season.

10.45am: Middlesbrough are set let 20-year-old midfielder Matty Dolan join Bradford City on loan.

3pm Thursday: Rotherham United assistant manager Paul Raynor confirms the Millers have a bid on the table for one player.

2pm: Rotherham United have announced that James Tavernier and Haris Vuckic will stay at the club until the end of the season.

1.30pm: Barnsley manager Danny Wilson says former Doncaster midfielder Martin Woods is training with the Reds, according to Yorkshire Post football writer Leon Wobschall. Wilson is also interested in bringing in Scottish goalkeeper Iain Turner. The Reds boss also wants to extend the loan deal of Liverpool full-back Ryan McLaughlin.

12pm: Sheffield Wednesday have completed a loan deal for Arsenal youngster Benik Afobe until the end of the season.

Afobe, 20, spent time at loan at Huddersfield Town three seasons ago.

10am: Leeds United are moving players on rather than bringing them in with Luke Varney set to complete a move to Championship rivals Blackburn Rovers.

The striker asked not to play on Tuesday when Leeds hosted Ipswich Town.

9am: Brighton have had a bid for Huddersfield Town midfielder Adam Clayton reportedly rebuffed.
