Leeds have made Southampton striker Che Adams their number one target in this transfer window and remain hopeful of striking a deal with the Saints, despite boss Ralph Hasenhüttl insisting they won't let the forward out on loan.

United also want to sign a winger and are close to securing Italian teenage goalkeeper Elia Caprile, who was spotted in the West Stand at Elland Road during Saturday's game against Sheffield Wednesday.
