Reading defender Michael Morrison says Leeds United will have to deal with the Royals strengths on Tuesday evening as Mark Bowen's side aim to get back to winning ways.

Marcelo Bielsa's Whites make the trip to Berkshire for the Championship clash in strong form having it made it six games unbeaten with Saturday's late 2-1 victory over Luton Town.

Reading themselves fell to a first defeat under Bowen at Brentford after he took charge of the club in mid-October.

Morrison, though, believes his side can test the Championship second-placed side.

"This whole week will show how far this team has come," Morrison said.

"Brentford, Leeds then Wigan to finish up, so it’ll be a good barometer of where we are and what we’re pushing for.

"If we can get a win at home, it sets it up to still be a good week. It’s an important game and we want to get back to winning ways. We certainly don’t want back-to-back defeats.

"It is important we get back on the horse and get some points to keep us ticking over. We will be aiming for the three points, but it's important to keep getting points.

"You look at our home form recently, three wins in a row. We are looking positive and we think it’s a game we can go and win.

"We have strengths that they’ll have to deal with - it will be a good game of football and we’ll be itching to get back and win the game.

"Leeds always bring good support. It will be nice to play under the lights and we will be giving everything."
