Hernandez is facing a month on the sidelines with a hamstring injury picked up in last weekend's 2-1 loss at Fulham and Alioski's inclusion will see Stuart Dallas moved into midfield with Mateusz Klich likely to play more advanced.

Barry Douglas also returns from illness for a place on the bench where Pascal Struijk takes the place of the called up Alioski.

But Tyler Roberts and Jamie Shackleton don't make the 18 after only recently returning to training after hamstring problems while Adam Forshaw is still out with a hip issue.

Jack Clarke - who is set to be recalled by Tottenham Hotspur - also does not feature while Arsenal loanee Eddie Nketiah again has to make do with a place on the bench.

Preston have been dealt a late blow with big German centre-back Patrick Bauer missing through illness.

Lilywhites boss Alex Neil has made three changes to his side with Bauer, Billy Bodin and Paul Gallagher dropping out of the XI and with David Nugent, Brad Potts and Ben Davies all coming in.
