Middlesbrough's prospects at Leeds United written off by bookmakers

LEEDS UNITED are hovering around the 1-3 mark to net a fifth-Championship win in succession against Middlesbrough for whom injury doubt Britt Assombalonga is easily rated the biggest goal-scoring threat.

United have the first eight players in the first goalscorer market with Patrick Bamford favourite at around the 10-3 mark.

Eddie Nketiah is second favourite at 18-5 followed by Helder Costa, Pablo Hernandez, Tyler Roberts (even though he is injured), Jack Clarke, Jack Harrison and Mateusz Klich.

Assombalonga is next at 10-1 with Ashley Fletcher the next Boro player in the list at 14-1, the same price as Tyrone ONeill with Stephen Walker 16s.

But a 2-0 win for Leeds is rated the most likely score at 6-1 and a 4-0 win for United (15-1) is rated more likely than a 1-0 victory for the visitors (28-1).

Against his former side, Bamford is no bigger than evens to score any time but a better value bet might be the very in-form Jack Harrison who also faces his former side and is 10-3 to net any time or 8-1 to score first.

Bamford, meanwhile, is 5-1 to score two or more or 25-1 to bag a hat-trick.

For those who fancy an upset, two bets and one particular stand out. The draw is 23-5 while a Boro win of any shape or form is a staggering 11-1.
