Leeds United pre-season 2019/20 - Western Sydney Wanderers kick-off time confirmed with Australia plans complete

Western Sydney Wanderers have confirmed the kick-off time for Leeds United's second friendly of the Whites pre-season tour to Australia next month.

Leeds will make the trip down under to face rivals Manchester United in Perth on July 17, before taking on Wanderers three days later as the curtain is raised on their brand new Bankwest stadium ahead of the A-League campaign.

The kick-off time has now also been confirmed for 7pm for both fixtures, although there is a time zone change between matches.

Whites fans will be able to tune into the Red Devils clash from 12pm in West Yorkshire when rivalries are renewed with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men, while the Wanderers fixture is set for a 10am start in the UK.

Wanderers will also be the first sports franchise in Australia to implement safe standing during the fixture against Leeds, with 1,260 standing spaces available once the doors open.

Western Sydney Wanderers CEO John Tsatsimas said ahead of the clash: "We cannot wait to play our first match at Bankwest Stadium against a club with so much history and tradition.

“We look forward to our members and fans experiencing our home in action for the very first time in a family-friendly timeslot.”

United last week announced two further fixtures to their schedule ahead of trip to Australia, as they take on York City and Guiseley on July 10 and 11 before boarding the plane across the world.

Marcelo Bielsa will get chance to cast his eye over his full squad ahead of the pre-season mini-camp at both Bootham Cresent and Nethermoor Park.

The Whites will also host a traditional final friendly at Elland Road ahead of the new campaign, though they are yet to announced their opponents.

The final pre-season fixture is set for July 27, just a week before the new Championship season gets underway.
