Leeds United have been linked with a move for out-of-favour Everton striker Cenk Tosun.

Phil Hay of the The Athletic discussed potential transfer activity for the Whites in an online Q&A, where he added further weight to rumours that Leeds are also interested in Liverpool youngster Rhian Brewster.

Turkish international Tosun is a highly-rated player, though there is the caveat that he would expect Premier League level wages. Any move for a striker appears to hinge on whether Eddie Nketiah will return to Arsenal, or whether he will spend the remainder of the season at Elland Road.

In other Leeds United news, James Milner has discussed how 'amazing' an Elland Road return would be.

Speaking to The Sportsman, he said: "It would be amazing to play for Leeds again but no-one from the club has ever contacted me about that. People talk about my age and that I’m getting on, and could I continue after Liverpool, but I don’t think I’m typical physically for my age.”
