As ever, with some key games to watch out for, we preview the main talking points ahead of this weekend's Championship fixture list. Scroll and click through the pages:
1. Relegation six-pointer at Kenilworth Road?
Luton were hit with a major blow following the news that Izzy Brown is sidelined for 10 weeks. The Hatters will have put that behind them quickly, though and focus on Wigan, who are just one point below them in the table.
2. Jonathan Woodgate going nowhere
Speculation earlier in the week suggested struggling Middlesbrough were hoping to appoint Neil Warnock as manager, however Woodgate says owner Steve Gibson has told the 39-year-old he is right behind him.
3. Hull City = one-man team?
Stoke City midfielder Sam Clucas believes stopping former teammate Jarrod Bowen holds the key to the relegation-threatened Potters earning a result against one of the leagues in-form sides.
4. Huddersfield facing selection crisis
Doubts over Danny Simpson and Jaden Browns fitness will leave the Terriers very understocked in the full-back area. Frazer Campell is also a doubt. Tommy Elphick and Trevor Chalobah are definitely unavailable.
5. Sheffield Wednesday have a game this weekend!
The EFLs investigation over the sale of Hillsborough has dominated the Owls headlines and their big game against Brentford has gone unnoticed. Off the field, the club seems to be playing it cool - but will that translate onto the pitch?
6. Nottingham Forest can get closer to top two
With Sabri Lamouchis men travelling to Millwall in the Friday night game, a win would put Forest five points behind the top two. Indeed, Millwall have lost just once to Forest in 11 league home games. Tough ask?
