Leeds United West Brom ratings

Our Phil Hay hands out the scores from Elland Road...

Good and safe under high balls, with the exception of Robson-Kanus header early in the second half. One classy save from Rodriguez but a doddle of a night, all things considered. 8/10
Did anyone see Dwight Gayle? A striker who always seems to score against Leeds was in Aylings pocket throughout. 8/10

The passing from the back was so much better and incisive and West Brom barely had a sniff. A clean sheet again West Brom is not to be sniffed at. 9/10
Likewise with Rodriguez, who had one shot before the break but might as well not have been on the pitch. 9/10
Won tackle after tackle and the quality of Leeds play was matched by the quality of their pressing. Alioskis defensive work was superb. 9/10
Tackled, hassled, dictated play and did all the things a first-class defensive midfielder does. There was no chance of Albion breaking through the middle. 9/10
Three games in seven days clearly pushed him hard but the battle between Uniteds midfield and Albions midfield was a walkover. 8/10
Star man. Has never played better than this for Leeds. His movement was excellent, his running from deep caused massive problems and two of the assists came from him. 9/10
Took the cue from Cooper to attack from the first whistle and was one of several players who ran riot. This is the winger Leeds thought they were signing. 8/10
What a goal and how well-timed. West Brom couldnt clear their heads after that and he was up for the big occasion. 8/10
Two shots, two goals and a demonstration of what 7m should look like. A massive shot in the arm, setting him up for the run-in. 9/10
Picked up the baton by attacking a side who were already dead and buried. 6/10
On for literally seconds and still set-up Alioskis strike. 8/10
There were decisions which could have gone the other way but none which really mattered. 7/10
