KALVIN PHILLIPS has picked out a quartet of Leeds United youngsters as being particularly exciting and tipped to be in the first team within the next year.

Speaking to Forza Football Academy on Instagram as part of their Instagram Live Series hosted by Andy Welsh, Whites midfielder Phillips was asked which players stood out coming through United's youth team.

"We’ve got quite a few. We’ve got some really good young players,” he said.

"We’ve got Leif Davis, he’s a great player. He’s a left-back who’s really quick.

“We’ve got Jordan Stevens who’s made a few appearances here and there as well.

“We’ve got a few younger lads called Niall Huggins and Alfie McCalmont.

"They’re really good young players as well.

"I think they’ll be in the team in the next year or so, definitely.”
