The Yorkshire Evening Post is relaunching a WhatsApp service for readers, making it easier for you to find the Leeds United news that matters to you.

Readers who sign up to our WhatsApp service will receive one message each weekday with the top news stories from the Whites' fight for promotion to the Premier League.

We will also send out text alerts for any major breaking news from Elland Road immediately.

The service will be free to join. Here’s what to do:

- Go to the WhatsApp app on your phone and add the YEP as a contact, with the phone number +447860 530978. You must add the YEP as a contact to be able to receive messages into your WhatsApp inbox.

- Send us a message in WhatsApp with the word ‘LUFC’ to sign up for alerts

- We will add you to one of our broadcast lists and you will start receiving messages when the service is launched in the coming days

How can I stop receiving messages?
