Meslier has been capped by France at under-18s, under-19s and under-20s level and was an unused substitute for the under-21s in their 3-1 defeat against Switzerland in November 2019.

The shotstopper who turned 20 last March has since been handed his big chance in the United first team during Kiko Casilla's suspension with the Frenchman grabbing the opportunity with both hands in keeping seven clean sheets from ten league starts.

Meslier joined Leeds on a season-long loan from FC Lorient last summer and the Whites made the 'keeper's switch permanent in July by signing the custodian for a fee of around £5m on a three-year deal.
