The Whites come up against the Gunners on Sunday afternoon at the Emirates, and will be looking to build on their victory over Crystal Palace on Monday night.

A win against Mikel Arteta’s men would open up a four-point gap between the two sides, and White is confident that Marcelo Bielsa’s side have what it takes to secure a result.

Discussing the matter with former Arsenal man Martin Keown on talkSPORT, he said: “I would have thought that Leeds are super dangerous going into this one at the weekend.”

Keown responded: "I think it’s a really tough game for Arsenal.

"Leeds are coming into some really decent form.

"I think it’s a crossroads for Arsenal after having a really disappointing couple of games and performances, decisions going against them.

"Partey’s not fit, so that’s another huge loss.

"Again, he’s going to turn to the youngsters, Smith-Rowe and Saka, to try and get the club through what is a very difficult period.

"The way Leeds take onboard what the manager wants to do, the tactics that they deploy, and now they’re in the best period of the season so it’s really tough for Arsenal.”

White then reiterated his belief in Leeds, adding: "I’ve got a feeling – I shouldn’t be saying this in front of Mr. Keown – that Leeds are at least going to get a point in this this weekend.

"I think the way they’ve been playing, Bielsa’s got something going there, big time.

"I think they’ll cause Arsenal problems for pace. I think it’ll be a double this weekend – Josh Warrington to win his fight [against Mauricio Lara on Saturday night], and his beloved Leeds to beat Arsenal.”

Leeds managed to take a point from the Gunners when the two sides met at Elland Road back in November, but may have felt aggrieved to have not wrapped up all three points on the day.

As well as coming up against 10 men for the majority of the second-half, the Whites had 25 efforts on goal to Arsenal’s nine, and enjoyed 67% possession.
