National League outfit Guiseley have completed a second Non League deadline day signing from Leeds United.

Young full-back Michael Taylor, 19, has followed Alex Purver in signing the Lions on loan until the end of April.

Taylor secured his first professional contract at Leeds after completing a two-year scholarship at Elland Road.

Taylor, a right-back, arrived at Leeds from Everton two years ago and featured 25 times for the Under-18s during 2015/16 and started three times for the Under-21s during the closing weeks of the campaign.

Purver re-joined Guiseley for a second spell at Nethermoor Park earlier on Thursday.

The 21-year-old midfielder made a big impact during his 21-match spell with the Lions in the first half of the campaign, scoring two goals.

Guiseley have hit form in the opening months of 2017 and have pulled clear of the National League relegation zone.

Adam Lockwood's men sit in 16th place on 46 points, with seven games remaining.

Meanwhile, Guiseley winger Joel Logan has gone on loan to Halifax Town until the end of the season.

The Manchester-based winger, 22, has struggled to make an impact at Guiseley.
