Goals from Patrick Bamford, Rodrigo, Stuart Dallas, Alioski and Jack Harrison sealed an emphatic win for the hosts on home soil for only the second time this season.

The three points were claimed in style with United bagging three times in the final thirteen minutes of action, which included two counter-attacking goals.

Alioski calmly finished off from inside the box as Leeds swarmed forward from a Newcastle corner before Harrison slotted home a stunning strike to round off proceedings in similar circumstances.

Bielsa's men were left delighted with the performance and halted any creeping doubts in West Yorkshire following back-to-back top flight defeats to Chelsea and West Ham.

Alioski admitted post-match that belief in their style of play is key and an attitude to match brought success against Steve Bruce's visitors.

“It’s always good after a win, it was important for us for the morale and motivation and the team spirit within the group,” said Alioski post-match.

“We never give up, we always believe and we know with the style of how we play, the success will come, we just need to keep working hard and then we can be happy.

“We like how we play, we enjoy every game, even if we are sometimes sad afterwards.

“We try every time to get the maximum from games, sometimes the results are not how we want, but we always go for the next game and believe, we know how strong we are as a team and the success will come.

“Scoring five goals was beautiful to see, five different players scored which was nice and I’m happy for everybody that scored.

“The transition from defence to attack was beautiful and getting people in the box, it doesn’t matter who scores the goal, it’s all about how quick we change from the back to go to score and we deserve this.”

Asked about this weekend's trip to face arch rivals Manchester United at Old Trafford, he added: "We can’t rest, we need to recover quick which is important.

“We will analyse this game and analyse the game we are going to play.

“We need to work harder again to get another win.”
