Leeds approached last August's home clash against Steve Cooper's Swans unbeaten after four draws and a victory but a late strike from Wayne Routledge took all three points back to South Wales and Swansea into first place.

Nearly 11 months later, United are heading for the Liberty Stadium sat top of the pile and needing just seven points from their final four games to guarantee automatic promotion.

Swansea, meanwhile, sit seventh and just one point off the play-offs with Cooper's side knowing victory would send them above fierce rivals Cardiff City into sixth and two points ahead of the Bluebirds.

The Swans have Alioski's respect and the North Macedonian expects a very different contest to Thursday's 5-0 hammering of Stoke City but Alioski also says Leeds are a different breed to one that City faced in August.

"Swansea's a good team with good players," said Alioski.

"It will not be the same game as Stoke City, it will be really different.

“I remember how we lost to them. They didn't deserve their win here but we learnt from the beginning of the season, we are much stronger.

"We know what we can do.

“We go there ready, fit and all with one goal. Everybody knows it now.

“I think we'll prepare a little differently because it will be a different game to Stoke City but of course we'll go there to take the points."
