1. L: Hull City
Grant McCann was far from impressed as his Hull team went from hammering Preston 4-0 to losing to bottom side Barnsley 3-1 in the space of three days. Great news from Gerhard Struber, though - his first win as Tykes chief.
2. W: Bristol City
Following the tragic news of the passing of Benik Afobes two-year-old daughter, Robins manager Lee Johnson was quick to dedicate their 5-2 win over Huddersfield Town to Benik and his family. RIP.
3. L: Luton Town
The least surprising loser in this weekends edition. Graeme Jones side were embarrassingly pumped 7-0 at Brentford, leaving the Hatters boss to issue an apology to supporters on behalf of himself and the players.
4. W: Aleksandar Mitrovic (Fulham)
Mitros double against Swansea allowed Fulham to keep the pressure on West Brom and Leeds. And according to Mateusz Klich, its now a three-horse race for the top two. He also said the Baggies are the best in the league.
5. L: Swansea City
With just two wins in their previous 10 games (now four games without a win), some of the Liberty Stadium crowd jeered their team off the pitch after the defeat Fulham. Their promising promotion push looks to be fading
6. W: Sheffield Wednesday
A Steven Fletcher brace got the Owls back to winning ways in a 3-1 win at Charlton after five matches. That put the Wednesday players in good spirits for their Christmas party yesterday. See Jacob Murphys Instagram story!
