Young defender Bryce Hossanah has confirmed he has joined Leeds United after leaving Crystal Palace earlier this summer.
Hossanah revealed on social media that he has signed his first professional contract, believed to be a one-year deal. at the Whites.
Hossanah wrote: “Delighted to have signed my first professional contract with @LUFC , big thanks to everyone who's been supporting me.”
The 18-year-old right-back joined Leeds on trial at the start of August and has earned himself a prolonged stay in Carlos Corberán's Under 23s set up.
He played 75 minutes in United 23's opening match of the Professional Development League but he could not prevent his new side losing 2-0 against Watford on Monday.
New signing Madger Gomes, who joined from Liverpool, was an unused substitute.
Leeds' Under 23 team finished bottom in the Professional Development League last season after winning just six of 28 matches.
However, the academy side has undergone an overhaul since Andrea Radrizzani's takeover of the club this summer including the recruitment of Barcelona talent Oriol Rey.
