Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti on why he wants dinner with Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa

Ancelotti's Toffees sit top of the Premier League five games into the new season with the 61-year-old now in his 26th year of management following spells in charge of Reggiana

Parma, Juventus, AC Milan, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Napoli.

Yet the hugely experienced and travelled manager has still never met Whites head coach Bielsa and the Toffees boss would like that to change, specifically to listen to the world-renowned Argentinian's opinions on the beautiful game.

In in interview with Gazzetta dello Sport, Ancelotti said of Bielsa: "We have never met. I’d like to have dinner with him and listen to him talk about football."

Reflecting on newly-promoted United's start to life back in the Premier League - and the nature of this season's division so far in general, Ancelotti reasoned: "In general, there is a levelling up: Aston Villa have spent a lot, Wolverhampton have ambitions, Leeds have the personality of their manager."
