Diego Llorente issues message after Leeds United defender misses Spain's final group game of Euros
LEEDS United defender Diego Llorente issued a message about Spain's progress after his side booked their place in the knockout stages of Euro 2020.
Llorente was an unused substitute in Spain s first two group games of this summer's European Championships against Sweden and Poland which both ended in draws.
The Whites centre-back was then not named on the bench for Wednesday night's Group E finale against Slovakia in which Luis Enrique's side romped to a 5-0 victory to seal qualification for the last 16 as group runners-up.
Llorente took to social media shortly after the victory to say: "Proud of this team. Eighths (last 16) of Euro 2020. Very grateful to all the fans for their support come on Spain!"
