LEEDS UNITED head coach Neil Redfearn has made two changes to his starting line-up for this evening’s teak-tough televised test at Derby County.
Souleymane Doukara returns to the side in place of Billy Sharp, who made his feelings known after being substituted in the final twenty minutes of the 2-0 home loss to Wigan Athletic on Boxing Day.
Meanwhile, Rudy Austin, who came on for Alex Mowatt at the interval against the Latics, was handed his first start since the 1-1 draw with Norwich City on October 17 in place of Michael Tonge.
Jason Pearce, an unused substitute on Boxing Day, missed out through injury, with Dario Del Fabro taking his place on the bench.
Adryan also returned to the bench after apparently missing the Boxing Day clash with a virus.
County, who hammered Birmingham City 4-0 at St Andrews on Friday, made just one change, with central defender Jake Buxton, available again after a two-match ban, replacing Ryan Shotton, who took his place on the bench.
Derby have won their past six fixtures against Leeds at the iPro Stadium and are unbeaten in eight games on home soil against the Whites, whose last win in this quarter of the East Midlands arrived back in April 2002.
Leeds head into the game just one point above the relegation zone, with Derby chasing second spot with victory tonight, allied to Ipswich dropping points at home to Charlton.
Struggling Wigan welcome Sheffield Wednesday this evening.
Tonight’s referee at the iPro Stadium is Keith Stroud from Hampshire.
