Deadline approaches as Burley Banksy teams up with YEP for exclusive competition

The deadline for submissions is fast approaching in the collaboration between the Burley Banksy and the Yorkshire Evening Post.

The Yorkshire Evening Post teamed up with the 'Burley Banksy' to give readers the chance to design their own mural box.

Readers now have until May 15th to submit their entries.

Andy McVeigh, known as the Burley Banksy, has become a household name in Leeds over the past year from repainting electric boxes across the city.

Now - in an exclusive collaboration - Andy is giving one lucky YEP reader the chance to paint their own box alongside him.

Anyone who would like to enter the competition should download the template to colour in by visiting https://we.tl/t-loCMsrWEITThis should then be painted/coloured in/digitally designed within the constraints of the template.

The winner will be picked by Andy himself before the design is made into reality following the lifting of lockdown restrictions.

Designs must incorporate a Leeds theme and finished pieces should be either tweeted to @pantsdanny or emailed to [email protected]

Two lucky runners up will also receive a personalised canvas painting by the Burley Banksy.
