The Chief speaks - Lucas Radebe joins current Leeds United players to deliver important message

A number of first team players and former captain Lucas Radebe joined forces in a coronavirus video published on the club's social medial channels this afternoon.

Current skipper Liam Cooper began the video by paying tribute to the work of the National Health Service during the pandemic.

He said: "From everybody at Leeds United, we hope everyone is staying safe and following the government guidelines to protect the NHS. The work the NHS are doing at the moment is unbelievable, we can't thank you guys enough. Stay safe everybody and take care."

First team members Gaetano Berardi, Tyler Roberts, Barry Douglas, Adam Forshaw, Mateusz Klich, Ian Poveda, Stuart Dallas, director of football Victor Orta and Leeds United Ladies Emma Bentley and Bridie Hannon were joined by Radebe to broadcast a message encouraging people to follow government advice, stay at home and save lives.
