Marcelo Bielsa's 14th-placed Whites have only taken four points out of a last possible 18 yet are no bigger than 9-11 to defeat Steve Bruce's in-form Magpies.

Newcastle, who have won their last two and sit 13th, can be backed at 18-5 while the draw is on offer at 3-1.

United's no 9 Patrick Bamford is firm favourite to score first and no bigger than 41-10 and only 29-15 as an any time scorer with Whites team-mate Rodrigo next at 6-1 and the same price as Newcastle striker Callum Wilson who is the club's top scorer and way out in front on that score with seven goals.

Wilson, capped four times by England, is not surprisingly seen as the clear chief Magpies danger man with Whites trio Pablo Hernandez, Raphinha and Tyler Roberts all 8s to score first ahead of Newcastle's Dwight Gayle who is 9s.

Leeds winger Helder Costa is next in the list at 19-2 followed by Newcastle's Andy Carroll at 10s and then Whites duo Mateusz Klich and Jack Harrison who are both 21-2.

Joelinton (11s) is the other Magpies man reasonably prominent in the betting with Allan Saint-Maximin next at 14s.

Yet Leeds are fancied by the bookmakers to leave Elland Road with all three points with the first outcome resulting in a Magpies win only seventh in the correct score betting via a 2-1 triumph for Steve Bruce's side at 33-2.

A 1-1 draw is actually favourite at 39-5 but thereafter it is all Leeds with a 2-1 victory for Marcelo Bielsa's side seen as the most likely score in the home side's favour at 42-5.
