Good day

Illan Meslier

Leeds United's Man of the Match. Had it not been for the youngster, the scoreline might have been a little more sickening for Whites fans. Made some big stops when his defence left him exposed.

Still looks incredibly at home in the top flight, for one so young.

Bad day

Gjanni Alioski

Earned his place in the team with his performance against Arsenal and a decent enough showing against Everton but struggled against Chelsea.

Giving the ball away against a team so good on transition, so quick and able to hurt you, was harmful in the extreme. Defensively he found himself isolated and in trouble.

Turning point

Pulisic coming on

Chelsea lost Hakin Ziyech to injury and simply brought on another superstar. Ziyech was a real threat on the right, Pulisic seemed to pop up in lots of positions and his close control meant he could spin away from the Leeds press to exploit space in behind.

A terrific performance from the substitute that he capped with a goal. It showed the strength of the squad Leeds were up against.

Number of the day

Leeds created so many shooting opportunities against Arsenal and Everton that it raised a few eyebrows around the country, but found the boot on the other foot at Stamford Bridge.

Frank Lampard was delighted with his side's offensive dominance and they created so many moments of danger. At times it looked like Leeds were experiencing what it's like to play against Leeds. A tough evening.
