Frank's Brentford side made a late surge for automatic promotion during the 2019-20 Championship campaign but had to settle for a third-placed finish as West Brom pipped the Bees to second.

Leeds, though, eventually romped to promotion as champions in finishing ten points clear of runners-up West Brom and 12 points ahead of Brentford who lost in the play-off final to Fulham.

Frank, though, says Norwich, Swansea, Watford, Reading and Bournemouth are all competing with his side for a top-two spot in an open division due to the absence of Leeds.

"I think the top six are all competing for the top two and if you start thinking you are good then another team will go past you," said Frank, as quoted by Wales Online after Wednesday's 1-1 draw at Swansea.

"These six teams will take it right until the end.

"Last year Leeds were the best team in the division but this year there isn’t one team that stand out.

"It's going to be interesting."
